Our fortified wines (Zibibbo and Moscato) are produced using the Zibibbo grape variety, synonymous of Moscato of Alexandria (of Egypt) that is extremely typical since it can be cultivated only in the province of Trapani. They are vinified using a traditional process in which the fermentation is stopped with an alcohol addition that allows the sugars present in the wine to be derived integrally from the grapes.
The Zibibbo wine has a velvety taste and lighter tones that make it an excellent match for sweets with ingredients of delicate flavours such as fruit or cream. The two products are distinguished by the harvest period. In fact, the grapes needed to produce the Moscato are collected over a period of time so that they wither on the vine and make the final product more amber in colour with a more intense flavour.AWARDS
